Prof. Dr. Makam Gangaiah is a professor and practising prosthodontist and implantologist — the discipline that rebuilds the smiles other dentists give up on: full-mouth rehabilitation, crowns and bridges, dentures, and dental implants. It is some of the most demanding work in dentistry, and it is where he has spent his career.

Fellowship-trained in oral implantology (FBOCI) and further credentialed (FDTRDO), he is, above all, a teacher. He has guided a generation of young dentists — not from a lectern, but beside the chair, in the language of real decisions.

His belief is simple: a fresh graduate doesn’t need more theory — you already have your degree. You need to see how the profession really works, and an honest mentor to help you choose where you belong. That belief is the whole reason this guidance program exists.

The guidance happens inside a real, working practice in Bengaluru — not a classroom. You spend the three months beside patients, in the operatory, with the whole clinic around you.
